I first learned about the Ride and Tie event back in 2005 or so. I wrote about it on my blog Equus Education, back in 2008. Now, fifteen years later I have been able to incorporate the idea of this event into my latest Free Rein book. If you’re a fan of the series, you can pre-order your copy of Ride and Tie now. Release date is June 2nd!
And if you’re up for a discussion on a suitable cover, you’re welcome to head along to my Instagram page or my Facebook page, where various covers are being discussed as the most suitable. Here’s the blurb of this latest release:
Jacqui is surprised to learn about a different horse riding event at this month’s riding club. The Ride and Tie event involves two people and one horse. They make up a team of three, rotating between riding the horse and running to cover a long distance.Stay tuned for further writing news 🙂
The riders are introduced to this new event at Riding Club and told they will be partnered up to compete against each other. Who will she be paired with? And whose horse should they ride? With this last-minute declaration, which team will win?”
