Hi! In case you couldn’t tell, I love horses 😉 I also love God, my husband and my children. Consequently, I feel very blessed to live the life that I do. So who is Christine Meunier?
I am an Australian woman who lives in Victoria, Australia with my husband and three children. I was introduced to horses at the age of 13 when my parents leased a horse for me. They then bought him for my 14th birthday – lucky me!
I learned as much as I possibly could with my gelding, Pride. Also, I read any book I could get my hands on that related to horses! I have been studying horses from 16 years of age, starting with a Certificate II in Horse Studies. I completed a Bachelor of Equine Science in 2015 and have done many other courses in between!
My background has included working on numerous thoroughbred studs in North East Victoria, then studying at the Irish National Stud. I have also worked at some horse riding schools in Melbourne both as a stable hand and instructor. In time I headed over to South Africa and rode endurance and trail horses on the Wild Coast.
In time I was offered a teaching position relating to horses and took this opportunity. It lead to teaching the Certificate III in Agriculure (Horse Breeding) and later I took on another teaching role at a Diploma level that related to breeding horses.
I now focus my energy on teaching horse courses, writing horse books that are educational and entertaining, horse educational resources and Equus Education, which focuses on horse careers around the world.
