November has been a very busy month for me, but I am pleased to be on track for National Novel Writing Month! Originally my goal was to write 40,000 words over the month, typing about 10,000 each week, with a focus on a different story each week.
And this worked really well! I finished E and E in the first week or so of NaNoWriMo. This has recently been published on Amazon! E and E is sort of a follow on from B and B, but is a standalone novel in itself:
For Ella Jarvis, things were looking promising. She had loving parents, a great God and was close to finishing her degree. To make things even better, she had a job ready to walk into once she had graduated.
A trimester break-up party changes all of that for the young woman. Unforeseeable events turn her life upside down. Suddenly she is left questioning where she is going, what she wants and if her God really is as loving and Almighty as she had first thought.
Since the completion of this novel, I have been working on The Chemistry of Horses, View from Above and most recently, Free Rein #12 which is just over half done. A week or so into NaNoWriMo, I decided to go for the typical 50,000 words of a Nano event and I have penned 46,277 so far, just 399 words behind target for this month.
It’s great to have finished a novel and to be making progress with my Christmas Free Rein book that I hope to release next month. Stay tuned!
