Thought I’d share an article from the local paper! 🙂
Free Rein Series Launched
Hi everyone!
I had a lovely Free Rein series release last Saturday and was rapt to see some familiar faces and friends, as well as some new faces! Everyone that bought books on the day, purchased both New Beginnings and In Pursuit of a Horse!
I was rapt that they were so keen to give this series a go!
If you’re eager to check out this new series, head on over to my online store where all three of my books can be found. They could be a great Christmas present for the younger reader (Free Rein series) and the older reader (Horse Country) 🙂
Take Part in the Free Rein Series Launch Day
December 7th is the official launch date of the first two books in the Free Rein series! Although you may not be able to come along to the book launch in Wangaratta, Victoria, this doesn’t mean you can’t take part in the day.
Join me on the release day in celebrating by:
- Buying a copy online
- Attending in person at the Wangaratta High Country Library
- Posting a review if you’ve already bought a copy online and have read it – you can do so at Librarything, Goodreads or on your own site
- Share the event with someone
- Tell a friend about it
- Like the Facebook page
As you can see, there are many ways you can take part in the day! Put it in your diary now to help spread the word 🙂
An Excerpt and a Review
Hi everyone!
I have a couple of pieces of information to share today: the Farrier Guide have posted an excerpt and Horse Talk has reviewed Horse Country!
- I tried to provide an excerpt for the Farrier Guide that was related to just that, horse’s feet!
- “Lise Hemmingway smiled to herself, studiously reading the available jobs listed on the sheet in front of her.She silently thanked whichever genius had decided to start a company that focused solely on advertising jobs in the equine industry and lining up capable people to take on these jobs anywhere across the globe.” Read on…
- Horse Talk have provided a wonderful review of Horse Country
- “It might not be obvious to the uninitiated, but there’s a great number of career opportunities in the horse world…” Read on…
Enjoy! 🙂
Author Spotlight and Radio Interview
Well it’s been a busy few days! I’m eagerly awaiting the print copies that have been ordered for my book launch on December 7.
Yesterday I was able to talk on the Equine Program with Casey Radio – you’ll see the link to this mp3 file off to the right of this screen, why not have a listen? The file is about one hour of the two hour program, and I feature in the last 20 minutes.
Morgen Bailey has kindly spotlighted me as an equestrian author on her site:
“Christine Meunier writes stories that focus on her passion for horses and/or her faith. Born in South Australia, she now resides in North East Victoria with her husband and plans to one day run her own horse property.” Read on…
Talking with the Equine Program
Well the Equine Program of Casey Radio were kind enough to talk with me in July about my debut novel Horse Country. The show runs from 7 – 9am on Thursday mornings, GMT+10 and is repeated at 3 – 5pm on the same day. Better yet, they even have podcasts available after the show has aired!
Upon hearing about the release of the Free Rein series, Gary and Graham were kind enough to talk with me again about this new series. Why not take a look at their podcast page and listen to their chat with me in the second half of the show? If you’re lucky enough, you may be able to stream the show live from their website at 3! 🙂
