It’s been a long while since I’ve had the opportunity to write a blog post! Life is super hectic currently and I’m not able to invest as much time in writing as I would like.
That said, the time that I am putting into writing is in progressing a number of novels, so I shouldn’t complain! I was discussing having numerous tasks to do with a gentleman at a birthday party today and he indicated that some people start so many projects and get overwhelmed. He then asked me, how do you eat an elephant?
I smiled and said “one bite at a time” at the same time that he did. It was a timely reminder to me that as long as I bite off small chunks of my long to do list, I will make progress!
It’s Camp Nano month in April and I’m rapt to have finished off the next Thoroughbred Breeders book and I’m also working on Free Rein #9 and a new standalone novel. But I’m close to 5,000 words behind target.
How do you achieve your writing goals? One word at a time… 🙂
