Hi! In case you couldn’t tell, I love horses 😉 I also love God, my husband and my children. Consequently, I feel very blessed to live the life that I do. So who is Christine Meunier?
I am a person who loves to write horse books that are educational and entertaining. Whether you prefer a paperback or an eBook, a series or a standalone novel, I’ve got you covered! You can purchase either format on Amazon, or even read them for free through Kindle Unlimited.
I am an Australian woman who lives in Victoria, Australia with my husband and four children. I was introduced to horses at the age of 13 when my parents leased a horse for me. They then bought him for my 14th birthday – lucky me!
I learned as much as I possibly could with my gelding, Pride. Also, I read any book I could get my hands on that related to horses! I have been studying horses from 16 years of age, starting with a Certificate II in Horse Studies. I completed a Bachelor of Equine Science in 2015 and have done many other courses in between!
My background has included working on numerous thoroughbred studs in North East Victoria, a little in New South Wales and then studying at the Irish National Stud. I have also worked at some horse riding schools in Melbourne both as a stable hand and instructor. In time I headed over to South Africa and rode endurance and trail horses on the Wild Coast.
Whilst a stud hand, I was offered a teaching position relating to horses and took this opportunity. It lead to teaching the Certificate III in Agriculure (Horse Breeding) and later I took on another teaching role at a Diploma level that related to breeding horses.
I now focus my energy on teaching horse courses, writing horse books that are educational and entertaining, horse educational resources and Equus Education, a blog which focuses on horse careers around the world.
