The Pen & Muse have kindly taken the time to showcase some of my novel, Horse Country!  In this excerpt, you’re introduced to one of the characters at the thoroughbred stud Nirvana Park.  Trevor is finding himself tiring of the breeding season as it reaches it’s end.  Read about it here!

So I’ve been out and about in Victoria taking flyers that advertise the release of Horse Country so that people will know about it’s release date and where to go to buy a copy of the book.

Do you know of a community noticeboard in your town or local tack and/or feed store that would have customers who may be interested in reading an amusing and informative novel about working in the horse industry?

If that is the case, perhaps you’d like to save and print off a copy of this Horse Country Flyer.

Down the bottom of the flyer, there are 15 strips that provide the address to this website so that people can stay in touch with where to buy the novel once it’s released for sale.  If you’re able to cut in between each so that people can tear them off and take them home, this would be wonderful!

Ideas for where this flyer could be received (be sure to ask or know that it’s ok to pin it up!)

• Local saddleries
• Horse feed/produce stores
• Community noticeboards in Kmart, Coles, Safeway, etc
• Any others that you feel would be willing and have the market for it!
