Last Thursday, on what is recognised as the horse’s birthday in the southern hemisphere, I was able to celebrate the release of my debut novel Horse Country – A World of Horses. This was at the Wangaratta High Country Library where they kindly hosted a Meet the Author event!
With the book having been released to the public for a month, it was a great opportunity to meet horse enthusiasts, sell copies and sign bought copies. I was rapt to be able to sell many copies on the day, but also to find that people turned up with already bought copies to be signed.
A big thank you to all who came along to hear a couple of excerpts, the reason the novel came to be written and of course, to talk horses!
