November marks National Novel Writing Month, or nanowrimo. I love taking part in this event each year! What’s even better is that there’s a Camp Nano in April and July of each year (the July one is always that little bit more appealing as you have one extra day to hit your writing goal for the month!). I love that there are three opportunities each year to work toward a great writing goal. And I am looking forward to knocking over a writing goal – or two – this November!
I’ve recently finished book 11 in the Free Rein series, to be titled Context. I plan to release it at the end of this month once the editing and cover are finalised. But for now, I am planning for nanowrimo.
I have lots of novels in progress at the moment. And so I am thinking that for this November, instead of focusing on one of these, I am going to aim to further four of them by 10,000 words each. The question simply is, which four? (Yes, I have got that many started).
So my plan for next month is to focus on the following novels:
- E and E (the follow on from B and B) – close to 22,000 words are penned currently
- View from Above (my most recently started novel) – 5,000 words have been penned so far
- The Chemistry of Horses – just over 8,000 words are written of this novel
- Free Rein #12 – nothing is penned for this one, but having just finished #11 and knowing the next one will focus on Christmas, it feels timely to pen this one before December!
