I have been considering the idea of creating standalone novels that could be described as Christian Horse Romances. And although this will be a fitting category for many half written novels, it is also fitting for one previously published (B and B). Now there are 4 in this category:
E and E
For Ella Jarvis, things were looking promising. She had loving parents, a great God and was close to finishing her degree. To make things even better, she had a job ready to walk into once she had graduated. A trimester break-up party changes all of that for the young woman. Unforeseeable events turn her life upside down. Suddenly she is left questioning where she is going, what she wants and if her God really is as loving and Almighty as she had first thought.
Refuge (Christian Horse Romance)
Stephanie Jackson has no time for men, nor any interest in them. Men are trouble and won’t hesitate to use their brawn and power to control and try to take what they want.
Committed to live a reclusive life just as soon as she can, the young woman is dismayed to find that she has piqued the interest of a man at church. As her passion for horses is discovered, Tali uses it to reach out to her.
Between the sensitive Christian man, some beautiful performance horses and a passionate pastor keen to share his faith, Stephanie finds herself suddenly on a journey she didn’t sign up for.
B and B (Christian Horse Romance)
Things are changing…
Ben likes his life at Happy Trails. As a trail guide on a property in Australia he doesn’t have to work hard to make friends. All he needs to do is make sure his clients are safe on their horses and have an enjoyable ride.
Ben can manage that. He loves that he can work with horses all day, every day. The humans are an added annoyance but he only has to deal with them in short bouts. The new cook hired for the farm looks like she could be a complication. Ben is averse to change and he is certain her arrival means change.
Brooke knows the trial position as cook at Happy Trails is a blessing. She needs a job to support herself and her daughter – the fact that she can cook for an income is an added bonus. If she can just avoid the interest of trail guide and jokester Jake, she’ll be fine. After all, she isn’t interested in a new male in her life. She just wants to focus on her daughter and make a future for them.
The Horse Missionary (Christian Horse Romance)
A missionary trip north of Australia. Horses. A chance to reach out to teenage girls. Cynthia Rogers finds herself surprised by an offer that is put to her from some church members. Even more surprising, is the fact that this offer combines her two passions: horses and the Christian faith.
As she embarks on a trip to northern Australia, she has no idea what awaits her: a smooth talking local who likes to catch the eye of young women; teenage girls who don’t realise their worth and one stocky horseman who’s willing to teach her what he knows about natural horsemanship.
