The Miller siblings know they lead a blessed life. Having lost their parents in a car accident whilst in their teens, Phoebe and Jude know it’s only by an elderly gentleman’s generosity that they have a life very different to what it could have been.
Having been forced out on the streets, the teens found themselves desolate. And yet when an elderly gentleman took them in though he could scarce afford it, they learned about God’s love and grace.
Now a decade later they work to fight the injustice they see in their own community: the insular church made up of the wealthy just gets richer, whilst many poor are left on the streets. They don’t know about God’s love, nor about the abundant life He desires for them. They don’t even care to know about the wealthy and their lives as they fight each day against the cold, hunger and a desperate hopelessness. As Jude and Phoebe’s lives come to be mixed with an insular family, it seems that God is working to change things.
